Tax Credit Extended/Expanded!

Congress has extended the current $8,000 tax credit to First Time Homeowners, which is defined by anyone who hasn't owned a home in the past three years.  The tax credit is extended until April 30, 2010, so don't delay as it may very well disappear on date.

In addition, Congress has expanded a  $6,500 tax credit added for those that currently are homeowners.  That tax credit can not be utilized on a second home, but, certainly helps out the "move up buyer" who has a home to sell, or has sold a home and is looking to upgrade to a new home. 

There are conditions to both tax credits, so call me if I can further explain the tax credits and how they affect you.  Act now, when this tax credit expires on April 30, 2010, it is likely that it will be gone forever!  If you are thinking of buying a home there has never been a better time with large inventories of available homes on hand, historically low interest rates and the tax credit, now is the time to explore your new home.
